What possibilities have you turned into reality?

I’ve worked with some of this country’s biggest lifestyle brands, creating content strategies that move people to action. After spending the 1990s and early 2000s editing and publishing youth and women’s lifestyle magazines, I fell in love with digital content and became one of Fairfax’s first bloggers. After working with Australia’s first sustainability magazine, G, I worked to launch the online platform, I then edited Australia’s largest parenting website,, which was bought by News Corp in 2012 in one of the publishing industry’s largest local acquisitions.

Let’s go invent tomorrow rather than worrying about what happened yesterday.

People, planet or profits? Can you choose one over the other?

I think you can choose planet and people over profits, but it’s not as sustainable as working with all three. Without profits, there is no platform or stable mandate to make change. Some of the biggest companies in the world are using their business to go beyond delivering zero impact climate change initiatives and rely on their profits to continue doing it. No money, no mission, right?
